Bytefall finds what is eating your phone storage: exact duplicates, similar shots, old screenshots, photos saved from other apps, large videos and blurry photos. Each category shows the real count and megabytes before you decide. Everything you mark goes to a basket and nothing is deleted until you confirm. Favourites, recent and edited photos are never touched. No account, no cloud: photos are compared and deleted on the phone. Free with one ad after a scan; a one-time purchase removes it.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mladen, the developer of Bytefall.
Most gallery cleaners I looked at wanted an account, a subscription, or both, and promised "9 GB found" before they had counted anything. Bytefall works the other way round:
Numbers are measured after the scan, and a photo that is both a duplicate and a large file is counted once.
Nothing is deleted straight away. Marked photos wait in a basket that survives closing the app, so you can review 80 sets over a few evenings.
Favourites, photos from the last 7 days, shared albums and edited photos are left alone.
There is no server. Photos are read, compared and deleted on the device.
On iPhone, deleted photos sit in Recently Deleted for 30 days, so Bytefall tells you that before you confirm instead of showing space you don't have yet.
It's free with one full-screen ad after a scan finishes, never while you sort or delete. A one-time purchase removes it; no subscription.
I'd really like to hear what it misses on your library, and which category saves you the most space.
