byte.day is a daily auction for internet real estate. Submit your URL and place a bid. Higher bids get more of the homepage; the first bidder starts with the whole page for $1. Every day resets, and each finished homepage is archived.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built byte.day around a very simple idea: if you bid more, your product shouldn’t just move one row higher — it should literally take up more space.
Every day starts fresh. The first bidder can take over the whole homepage for $1. As more products join, the page keeps dividing, and higher bids get larger pieces of it.
At the end of the day, that homepage becomes part of the archive.
It’s part ad auction, part internet billboard, and part daily snapshot of what people are building.
I just launched it, so I’d love to hear what you think — especially about the bidding mechanic and the homepage itself.
