ButtonBuddy was built to help address a common accessibility issue I see in my work as a front-end developer and as a browser of the web. Buddy helps educate visitors about what it takes to ensure an accessible color palette for buttons and then helps you achieve it with the generator. The better your contrast, the happier Buddy will be! Once you have a well-contrasted palette, you can copy your results in the form of ready to use CSS variables.
