Especially in open offices, a way to regulate interruptions - links to calendars, IM, VoIP status.

This is super smart. I was surprised how many people rely on phone presence indicators (many cubicle farms), but this takes advantage of line-of-sight you get in open offices. Wish the SDK was a little more accessible -- personally we'd have a bunch of integration options for this with room indicators.
