Hello Product Hunt
I built Business Day Calculator because I kept doing the same annoying math by hand. If an invoice goes out on a Thursday with Net 30 terms, when is it actually due? Does that land on a bank holiday? What if my client is in Germany and I am not?
Most date tools answer the easy question and stop. This one handles the messy version.
What is in it:
• 18 calculators covering working days between dates, add and subtract business days, Net 30/60/90, SLA deadlines, invoice due dates, project timelines, late payment interest, working hours, and time zone overlap
• Public holiday calendars for 25 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Vietnam
• Shareable result URLs, so you can send a colleague the exact calculation instead of a screenshot
• Available in English, German, and Spanish
The part I am most excited about is the embed system that just shipped. Every calculator can be dropped into any blog post, help doc, or intranet page with one iframe snippet. No account, no API key, no rate limits. If you write about payment terms, contract deadlines, or project scheduling, an interactive calculator beats a static example every time. Grab a snippet at businessdaycalculator.org/embed
No sign-up, no paywall, no data collection beyond basic analytics. It is free and it stays free.
I would love feedback on two things specifically. First, which country holiday calendar should I add next? Second, if you run a site and would embed one of these, what is missing that would make you actually do it?
I will be here all day answering. Thanks for taking a look.

It would be really helpful if the calculator could factor in partial working days, like when a task only takes 3 hours and you want to roll it into the next day's count. Right now it seems all or nothing, but most of our projects run on mixed schedules.

@erdoanpyfi Thank you for the feedback. I will look into how I can build this into the platform.

@erdoanpyfi I researched how to integrate your idea, but it would mean changing the entire time calculation format from days to hours to properly generate results for partial days and roll between separate days. I have kept your idea on the potential roadmap, and if I can find a solution to make it work, without a full rewrite from days to hours, I will add it in the future.

Would love to see a calendar view that visually highlights weekends and holidays on a single timeline, so I can drag a deadline across days and instantly see how many business days it spans. Right now the number output is great but a visual planner mode would make scheduling much easier for longer projects.

@biroltacer9603 I have added the ability to view in a calendar view. I think this should meet your idea/feature recommendation. Please check it out and let me know if it works for you and send any feedback.

Would love to see a recurring holiday rule for "the 3rd Monday of January" type definitions so we don't have to manually update regional calendars every year. Also a way to export an entire project's working-day timeline as a CSV would make reporting way smoother.

@sefa1251873 Please check the site again. I have added more features for adding custom holiday/recurring day rules, and I believe it will now work with your suggestions.

One thing that would make this way more useful for me is the ability to set custom recurring holidays for specific companies, since internal "no-meeting Fridays" or company shutdown weeks throw off every deadline calc.

@eminltzg I am working on a custom "holiday" option now. It was suggested by a previous poster. I will update the comments when new features are live.

genuinely useful set of tools, the embed option alone makes it stand out. one thing though, it would be great if the calculators could sync with google or outlook calendars so deadlines automatically show up where you already live. right now you still have to copy results over manually which kind of defeats the convenience angle.

@bayramzndzow4z Please check the site again. I have added the ability to export an .ics file that can be easily imported into google and outlook calendars. A full/proper sync would have required a lot more development, and created the need for user accounts, etc., so this was the best solution to provide the ability to output your calendar work without having to build in a huge set of features to support safely and securely syncing with 3rd party calendars. My goal is to keep Business Day Calculator 100% free by eventually monetizing through ad revenue, and I have to be careful about the time investment and recurring costs of new features, etc.

The Net 30 calculator saved me from a tedious spreadsheet habit. Liked that the holiday toggle actually works for smaller markets like Singapore, which most tools ignore.
