I kept opening a terminal or a billing page just to check what today's Claude Code session had cost me, so I built a menu bar app that shows it without asking. Cost per PR merged ended up being the number I check most, not the raw total, since it's the only one that tells me if the spend is actually turning into shipped work. Would love feedback, especially from anyone tracking spend across both Claude Code and Codex.
