Bullet Points

Bullet Points started with the following observation and question: lots of people subscribe to email newsletters curated by a human on a topic. What if you could create a news brief for *any* topic, with help from AI? I'm curious about so many different issues and topics, some of which are related to what I do for a living, while others are intellectual interests. I love to read, and I love to improve my understanding of what's going on in this richly complex world. I think there are many other people out there who feel the same way. Generative AI opens the possibility for automated curation and summarization of the news, and I hope Bullet Points can enable many people to get the updates they need on a diverse array of topics. I built Bullet Points with only open-source AI models, running on only CPUs, to prove that interesting Generative AI applications can be built without massive investment, and without dependency on (and vulnerability to) closed-models. I'm very open to feedback and would love to hear what this community thinks! Thank you for your time.
