Hey Product Hunt, We are excited to launch 🐂 Bull-Bear🐻! During lockdown, like many of you, my wife and I would try to think of things to do in the evening. A blog I read recommended this book - The Lost Art of Having Fun: 286 Games to Enjoy with Family and Friends. Inside we stumbled upon a treasure - a game called Bulls and Cows. This game has been around for years and sports multiple academic papers hunting for the optimal algorithm to solve it. Many of you will know Wordle or Mastermind, and in many ways this game is similar - though based around guessing a number. So I decided, with some help, to build it. Being a finance nerd I naturally turned this into Bulls and Bears and hosted it as a subpage on my blog www.snippet.finance. The game play is simple - just try to guess the secret four digit number. You will be given prompts in the form of bears (which indicates one of your digits is right but in the wrong place) and bulls (which indicates you are spot on). You don’t know which digit these prompts refer to! Once you guess the number correctly the game will tell you some trivia about that number.
