BugTrap is the widget and the dashboard together. A visitor or a teammate opens the widget, captures the screen, and draws on the broken UI. The ticket shows up with the screenshot, the annotation, the session replay, recent console logs, network activity, the URL, and the environment. The team filters, assigns, and comments from one queue. Guest reporting is included. Install is one script tag and a workspace API key.

Hey Product Hunt! I’m Meaghan, and I built BugTrap.
The problem
👉 Someone hits a bug on your site and the report shows up as a sentence. Sometimes there’s a screenshot. The URL, the console error, and what they clicked right before it broke are usually missing. Then the thread turns into “can you try that again?”
👉 The tools that already do this well priced it like enterprise software. Replay, markup, and letting a visitor file a report tend to live on a higher plan, and the bill moves every time you add a teammate.
What BugTrap does
👉 You add one script tag. A visitor or a teammate opens the widget, circles the broken part of the page, and sends it.
👉 The ticket lands with the screenshot, the drawing, the element’s HTML and CSS, about 30 seconds of what they did, and the recent console and network logs. Your team filters, assigns, and comments from one queue.
If the work already lives in Asana, each new bug can become a task there. If you’re fixing it in Cursor, Claude, or Codex, the agent can read that same report.
Why I built it this way
👉 I wanted the report to show up ready to debug, and I wanted a price a small team can say yes to. BugTrap is $5 a month for the workspace. The people you invite are included. Screenshot, markup, replay, logs, guest reporting, Asana, and that agent connection come with it.
