I’m thrilled to launch Bugshark today (a tool built out of sheer developer frustration).
Every time an end-user reported a bug, I spent more time chasing them for screenshots, console logs, or reproduction steps than actually fixing the code. The existing tools were either overly complex corporate monsters, bloated with features I didn't need, or required endless setup.
I wanted something lightweight, instant, and frictionless. So I built Bugshark (bugshark.dev).
How it works:
When a user encounters a bug, they can report it in just 2 clicks right from your web app.
Instead of vague descriptions like "the button doesn't work", Bugshark automatically collects the complete technical payload:
Screen & User Recording: Visual context of what the user did right before the issue occurred.

Sensitive Content Masking via CSS Classes: Easily blur or mask text inputs, passwords, credit cards, and personal data (PII) directly during screen recording by applying simple CSS classes to your HTML elements (before any video leaves the browser).
Recording Exclusions & Network Rules: Define specific UI elements to exclude from recordings and strip sensitive headers, tokens, or endpoints from network logs.
Media Attachments: Let users attach extra screenshots or files to provide additional context.
