Budgetron

Welcome! This is a little tool I created - initially for myself. I designed it with the goal of no longer fighting regular calculators, and to manage my budget a bit better while out. However, I got a number of questions and decided to expand and bring it out as a full application. It's got a number of features - first and foremost, is the ability to set and see exactly how much you have left to work from within a limit. Normal calculations subtract from your budget - but can also be set to add to instead. You can set a tax rate that can be automatically added to each budget calculation, or Finalize a budget when done to get the total estimate. Optionally, it can also do tip or individual tax calculations that get added item totals, and also add labels to items - both on and off budgets. Budgetron can also display a warning limit when you reach a set percentage of your budget - the text will go red. This can help stay within a reasonable rate for sales tax or other reasons. Lastly, it's designed to prevent you from easily losing your work short of an app reboot or website reload. "C" needs to be tapped twice, with a visual notice. "Reset" takes the place of AC, and throws a warning to make sure you want to do this. There are both full web and Android versions.
