Hey everyone! I’m Nana. 👋 I built BUDGET-FLOW because I was tired of personal finance apps that felt like they were spying on my data or locking core features behind paywalls. I wanted something that was just for me—a private, secure, and completely manual 'vault' to manage my own money. I decided to build it as a manual-entry tracker because I believe that when you’re forced to log your expenses yourself, you actually become more mindful of your spending. A few things about the stack: I built this using Python and Streamlit, with Google Sheets serving as a lightweight, private database. It was a fun challenge to focus on security through hashing, keeping the whole thing 100% free and open to anyone who wants to take back control of their financial data.
