This is a really lovely idea from Blurt, whose aim is to increase awareness and understanding of depression and provide support for those who need it. BuddyBox is something they've come up with in order to generate revenue to fund their efforts, but the thought behind it is great. It's simply a monthly gift box that you can send to a loved one who could do with a bit of a boost - for example, someone who's been feeling particularly low or is going through a tough time. You can even send them anonymously so the recipient doesn't feel like they need to do anything in return. Blurt is a UK company, but provide international shipping for a pretty reasonable £2.50 (about $3.80).
