As the AT Protocol ecosystem and Bluesky have exploded with new users, communities, and Starter Packs, managing a profile has quietly become a bit chaotic.
The native interface is clean and minimal, but as your account grows, basic maintenance tasks—pruning inactive accounts, organizing lists, managing moderation subscriptions, or backing up your data—can feel surprisingly tedious.
I built BskyKit to bridge that gap: a collection of utilities designed for the things Bluesky doesn’t make easy out of the box.
What Can You Do With BskyKit?
Instead of a bloated dashboard, BskyKit is organized into modular tools that address specific workflows:
Starter Packs & Custom Lists:
Converter & Combiner: Merge multiple Starter Packs or lists, strip duplicate handles automatically, and generate new lists or follow batches.
Compare & Clean Up: Diff two lists side-by-side to see shared members, or run an audit to identify blocked, deleted, or labeled accounts in your existing lists.
Auditing Follows & Followers:
Following Review: Spot accounts that haven't posted in months, vanished entirely, or don't follow you back, then prune them with clear confirmation steps.
Follow Back & Changes: See who recently followed or unfollowed you, filter out spam, and follow back without endless manual scrolling.
Bulk Follow: Paste raw lists of handles, links, or upload a CSV to follow batches safely.
Moderation & Safety:
Inspect, search, and export your active blocks, mutes, and subscribed moderation lists.
Bulk-block spammers or bad-actor follower lists with granular review and undo history.
Content Insights & Account Health:
Alt-Text Audit: Scan your media month-by-month to identify image or video posts missing accessible descriptions.
Analytics & Timing: Discover when your followers are most active, identify your top posts by engagement, and surface your top mutuals and "Superfans."
Search & Archival: Search your own past likes, bookmarks, and replies without scrolling. Export full conversation threads to CSV/JSON, or download your entire account archive in a single ZIP.
Safe Bulk Delete: Purge old posts or likes based on custom date ranges and keywords—with a mandatory export backup generated before anything is permanently deleted.
Built on Core Principles: Privacy & User Agency
A lot of social media utility tools rely on hoarding user data, running invasive trackers, or demanding full administrative account access. BskyKit is built entirely around user trust and control:
Zero Tracking & No Extra Logins: There is no "BskyKit Account" to register. No tracking scripts or analytics follow you across pages. Your session tokens and temporary history live exclusively in your browser.
Review Before Execution: Batch tools can be destructive. BskyKit never executes changes in the background. Every diff, whether you're unfollowing accounts, updating lists, or modifying blocks, presents a clear preview that requires confirmation before it touches the AT Protocol.
Safety Rails for Deletions: You should never accidentally nuke your history. Destructive actions like bulk deletion enforce an archive download first so you never lose your records.
