Congrats on the launch well done
Curious how you’re thinking about building early user reviews and long-term trust now that the Product Hunt traffic is rolling in?
@meenah1939 Currently just trying to get feedback from users(reddit and PH), also thinking about how to convince users that conversion is done only locally, seems like the description isn't enough.
This is cool!
I was having a similar need, for a local file conversion, recently. I ended up having an "alpha" state browser extension after 1-2 hours of coding with the help of AI. It would integrate the conversion to the right-click menu, for saving an .mp4 as .gif. It ended up needing around 30MB to execute ffmpeg in a hidden browser tab and needed several minutes to complete. I guess you solved these issues ... Maybe some inspiration for features in the future though :)
@phil_j1 May you describe your use case in more detail? Yep, currently I can process video files up to 2gb in output, for speed 1 gb video - to - video conversion done under 10 min.
