Hi Product Hunt! I'm Yilun, the maker of Browser Pomodoro Timer.
I built it for people whose work already happens in Safari: reading research, writing in a web editor, studying course material, or working through everyday browser tasks. A separate timer is easy to forget, so this one lives in the Safari toolbar.
Start, pause, or reset a focus session without switching apps. When it is time to rest, an on-page break reminder helps you step away instead of opening another tab and carrying on. Short and long breaks keep the rhythm simple.
Getting started: download the Mac app from the App Store, open it, choose Open Safari Settings, enable the extension, and allow webpage access where you want break reminders. Then start a session from Safari's toolbar.
The basic timer is free. An optional Pro purchase unlocks custom focus and break durations and the number of sessions before a long break. No account is required. This is a Safari extension for macOS, not an iPhone app or a Chrome extension.
I'd love to hear how it fits into your reading, writing, or study routine, and whether the break reminders arrive at the right moment. Thanks for trying it!
