This guide is location specific to Brooklyn. The idea of location allegiance is one that has fascinated me. It played a large role in the world wars and it also makes sports fun. I lived in New Orleans for a bit and they reject just about anything that is a big chain from the Northeast. They like to buy from people and brands that are New Orleans based. I realized was very different from the large cities that I had lived in for the last 5 years where purchase decisions are driven more by perceived quality and price.
