BrandMyItem is a marketplace for physical ad space. Post the item you want (a phone, a laptop, a golf bag, a carry-on). Brands reserve spots on it. When every spot is taken, we buy the item new, apply the branding, and ship it to you. Yours at delivery, you never pay. Brands get what a screen can't give them: a real object, carried into coffee shops, airports and meetings every day, with photo check-ins for the whole term.
Hey Product Hunt, Cam here.
I built BrandMyItem because the most-seen ad surface in my life isn't a screen. It's the back of my phone. It sits on the table in every meeting, every pitch, every coffee. Nobody skips it, nobody scrolls past it, and nobody was selling it.
So that's the product. You post the item you want. Brands reserve spots on it. When the last spot goes, we buy the item new, apply the branding ourselves (sticker, patch, embroidery or engraving, depending on the surface), and ship it to you. Yours at delivery, you never pay. Brands get a real object out in the world for the whole term, with photo check-ins to prove it.
What changed while building: the first version had owners applying stickers themselves and a 3D configurator. Both were wrong. Now we do all the application, the spot layout is a photo you draw on, and brands see one number, not a breakdown. Every cut made it simpler.
Listing #001 is my own iPhone 17, seven spots, live now: brandmyitem.com/#item/mm4v9kk
