I started Braivo from a pretty simple idea: students increasingly want to learn from material they choose themselves — a YouTube video, a book, a PDF, a course — instead of being forced into one fixed curriculum. At the same time, teachers have the opposite problem: they already have good material, but adapting it for every student takes a huge amount of time. Braivo is my attempt to connect those two sides. A student can bring material they care about, and the system turns it into practice that adapts to what they know, what they struggle with, and what they’re starting to forget. For teachers, the goal is to automate more of the “what should this student do next?” part without turning teaching into a generic AI chatbot. I’m building it open source, white-label, and API-first so schools, tutors, and learning products can use it with their own content and under their own brand. Still very early, so I’d love to hear from teachers and learners: what would you want an AI tutor like this to do really well?
