This site is dope. cc @_CamilleTaylor, @KikiSchirr, @SStormes, @stttories, @V4Violetta Here's some projects that immediately caught my attention: Ceramic Balloons: "Gravity is an unavoidable scientific phenomenon, much like aging, that we encounter; it piqued my interest and inspired me to create these ceramic balloons." + Radish Lamp: "The idea of my project is to make vegetables more attractive by celebrating their aesthetic appeal, making it fun and providing them a new function by making a light piece out of them." + FlipFlops: "FlipFlops are bracelets made from the old plastic sandals that float down the river in Mali."

@nikkielizdemere That does seem like a very cool idea! Unique. Thanks for tagging me, Nikki. I am so spending the next hour on there. :D

@V4Violetta They also have a beautiful Twitter feed that I just spent about five minutes browsing.
Kiki Schirr
@nikkielizdemere whoa, this does look amazing! :D

Lovely site full of lovely products. @travisjtodd in the main feed the highlight indicating "X% funded" consistently drew my eye to projects that were already successfully funded over ones that might need my help to make it to their goal. Was that intentional? For me crowd-funding is always at least a little about helping a project make it & feeling slightly more altruistic than when I do plain shopping. I assume on product end, a higher percentage of funded products is better for ecosystem. I wonder if visual treatments for categories like "just added" or "close to target" might help draw attention to more in-need projects over completed ones?

@ecetweets Great feedback thanks. We've been trying to find a good way to highlight the projects that are ending soon and "just born."

Hi, would love any feedback the Product Hunt community has on the design and UX of the site.

@travisjtodd Hey Travis. From what I can tell at a first viewing, the design and UX are pretty good. There's no confusion, the navigating is easy, and everything looks beautiful. Definitely worth upvoting and browsing. :)
Travis Todd
@V4Violetta Well, that's not helpful. ;) Just kidding. Thanks for the compliments.

@travisjtodd I love this stuff. I'm curious about how you got the domain name born.com. Such a solid name.
Travis Todd
@jasoncomely Thanks James. It's been owned by our chairman and founder for a while.

@travisjtodd Flash site for sporting goods? That's funny. Your concept is a *much* better fit for that domain. Thanks for the wonderful answer, and for inspiring us.
