Battleship for iPhone where every hit earns another shot. Eleven power-ups, six hand-built voxel fleets, real-time 1v1 over Game Center. Free — no ads, no in-app purchases, no sign-up.
Hi Product Hunt — we're THE LAST CLICK, and this is BoomBoats.
Battleship was never a bad game; it was a slow one. BoomBoats keeps the board everyone knows — ten by ten, five ships — and changes the one rule that matters: a hit means you fire again. Combos multiply the score, a sink pays by hull length, and a good streak can wipe a fleet in a single turn. The enemy plays by the same rule, so it can happen to you too.
Around that sit eleven power-ups with real trade-offs (sonar, torpedo run, decoy hull, carpet bomb…), six voxel fleets modelled from real silhouettes, five arenas, and a ranked ladder on Game Center. A friend challenge runs in real time over Game Center with no account of ours — the defender judges every shot, so there is nothing to cheat.
It is free, with no ads and nothing to buy. We wanted to know if the game is fun before we ask anyone for anything.
Built in Godot 4. iPhone today, Android in testing. Tell us where it loses you — the first match especially. We read everything.
