After some decent time developing this project I'm really happy to finally release Bookshare. I've actually had this idea when I was gifting my mum a book for Christmas last year - which she unfortunately already had in her shelf. So I was wondering why there is no easy solution to see which books your friends and family have, not just for not gifting the same book again - also for borrowing books you would love to read. That's how Bookshare was born. Feel free to leave some feedback... Looking forward to hear what you think! :)

@simon27387 any possibility of an Android or progressive web app in the future? Love the clean design of this over something like--gasp!--Goodreads.

@connorhewins Yes, there are thoughts of bringing Bookshare to Android as well! And there are also plans of integrating Goodreads OAuth to Bookshare - so that existing Goodread users can enjoy Bookshare's features out of the box with having their library already integrated 😊 I'm also keen to hear where the current version can be improved, just submitted a new App version which makes it easier to connect users!!

Glad you all like the idea! 😊@basheerak Just head to your Profile->Share your Bookshare ID and tap on the bookshare code at the bottom. This opens the standard share dialog which contains a URL e.g. your friend opens. This will open Bookshare if it's installed and connect you two and you can see each others libraries. You can also scan the QR code if you are next to each other ☺️ But maybe I need to add this explanation somewhere in the app... 🤔
