BookmarkSpot is a macOS menu bar app that searches all your bookmarks across Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Brave — every profile at once. Hit ⌘⇧Space, type, and open the result in the right profile. No mouse, no hunting through nested folders. $5, one-time.
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Nicholas, and I built BookmarkSpot because I kept opening the wrong browser profile.
Dev setup, work setup, client A, client B — I had bookmarks scattered across Chrome profiles and Safari, and every time I needed something fast I'd open the wrong one. It sounds trivial but it broke my flow dozens of times a day.
So I built a menu bar app that solves exactly that.
How it works:
→ Press ⌘⇧Space from anywhere on your Mac
→ Type to search across ALL your browsers and profiles simultaneously
→ Hit Enter — it opens in the correct profile, every time
No app switching. No bookmark folder archaeology. Just type and go.
Other things it does:
- ⌘C copies the URL, ⇧⌘C copies a Markdown link (great for devs writing docs)
- Toggle which browsers and profiles to include from the menu bar
- Customize the global shortcut to whatever you prefer
- Native macOS frosted glass UI — feels right at home on your desktop
Supports Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Brave. Free trial available, $5 one-time after that.
Would love to hear what you think — especially if you're also drowning in browser profiles. 🙏
