Practical and down to earth. All the obvious-when-you-think-about-it stuff people don't think about, in one handy reference. The only thing wrong with it is that for geographic reasons I had to buy the ebook and I really need a hard copy on my desk with post it notes on the best pages. (The one with content sanity checks for specific page types.)

I got this book on my Kindle and use it to guide not only my own website, but the websites of my clients. I also get Gill’s weekly emails that contain additional training and teaching each week. Gill is an expert in her field and this book distills down the best of her tips into one convenient place.

I'm often sucked into buying business books but this one is a keeper. I follow Gill on social media and get her useful emails. I love her refreshing no-nonsense approach; a welcome change from all the bs. Anyone with a website should buy this book.

An excellent book with Gill's best tips to improve your website. I've learnt so much from Gill over the last 2.5 years. She has a wealth of knowledge and practical advice backed up with sound reasoning on why this stuff works. The book is super clear to read whether you go cover to cover or dip into specific tips. Highly recommended.
