Here's my two-word review of the book - 'It works'. I have applied many strategies/edits/tools suggested by Gill on my blog and they work.

Gill and her brilliant, actionable tips on how to make websites work are absolutely fantastic! I've been a big fan of Gill for years on LinkedIn, and I think it's great that she bundled 100 of her tips into one book!

I'm often sucked into buying business books but this one is a keeper. I follow Gill on social media and get her useful emails. I love her refreshing no-nonsense approach; a welcome change from all the bs. Anyone with a website should buy this book.

If you've been following Gill for any length of time, the amount of value, in-depth experience and actionable advice she provides in just 5 minutes is enough to know she really knows her stuff. I bought the book on paperback and every page will provide info and tips that will actually move the dial - No Fluff.

Gill Andrews shares spot-on strategies, tips, and lessons about how to make your website work. If you follow her deftly written recommendations, your dream clients will not only visit your site, they'll gobble up your services page, and contact you. Why? Because Gill shows you how to cut the fluff and talk to the visitors that matter--your dream clients. Thanks, Gill Andrews!

As a copywriter, this is the book I refer to the most. It's a reassuring, no BS "this is how you do things" guide, perfect for when you're not sure, need some back-up in the face of an insistent co-worker/client, or when your brain is frazzled. Buy it!

Having created my own website for the first time, I found this book really useful for fine tuning the site. It's my "go-to" book when making changes as Gill has lots of practical tips and ideas to consider.

Practical and down to earth. All the obvious-when-you-think-about-it stuff people don't think about, in one handy reference. The only thing wrong with it is that for geographic reasons I had to buy the ebook and I really need a hard copy on my desk with post it notes on the best pages. (The one with content sanity checks for specific page types.)

I recommend this book to everyone who is building a website or trying to make their website viable. Great book for web designers who want to not just build websites but create websites that work.
