Having served on many non-profit boards of directors, it became very apparent that record-keeping was a challenge for most organizations. This is especially true for smaller non-profits that are volunteer run. Non-profits boards, and any governance body for that matter, have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders, donors, and the public to keep accurate records and ensure historical records are passed along to future directors and board members. There are huge expensive products with a ton of features for larger organizations out there. We are targeting those smaller boards that just need a handful of core features that can keep them organized and accountable.
