Blueprint: Interactive system design

While preparing for system design interviews, I kept reading about caches, load balancers and sharding, and forgetting most of it a week later. What finally made it stick was seeing a system fail.

So I built Blueprint:

Playground: drag in servers, caches, queues and databases, then send traffic at your design. Requests turn red where it can’t keep up. There are 12 graded missions, from your first server to surviving a flash sale or a region outage.
What Went Wrong: 17 real outages, like Facebook 2021, CrowdStrike and AWS S3, told as stories with animated failure diagrams.
Course: 18 lessons, 11 case studies and 68 building blocks, written to be fun to read.
DSA: 103 step-by-step animations and 308 problems, from brute force to optimal.

It’s plain JavaScript with a small traffic simulation running right in your browser, and it works on mobile.
