Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Roman, solo developer behind Blue Flame. What inspired me: I got tired of typing every thought for social media. My brain doesn't work in paragraphs — I think out loud. I wanted a place where talking is the default, not an afterthought. The problem: Text-first social feels like work. Voice notes feel natural, but they're trapped in iMessage or WhatsApp. There's no real social layer built around short audio — and most "voice social" apps either feel like live calls or podcasts. I wanted something in between: quick voice posts + private async voice rooms where conversation moves one message at a time. How the approach evolved: I started with "voice Twitter" in my head. Early testers (and Reddit feedback) made one thing obvious: the hardest moment isn't the feed — it's the first recording. People freeze when it's public and permanent. So I leaned harder into: - short clips (15–60 sec) - private voice rooms as a softer first step - async, not live — no pressure to perform on a call I built this solo from scratch with no prior coding experience. We're early (~17 users, learning fast), and I'd love honest feedback on one thing specifically: does recording your first voice post feel natural, or awkward? iPhone only for now.
