Blorp started outside an ice cream shop in New York, summer’25. A talk with a friend made me realize platforms no longer connect us—friendships get lost to noise, distance, and ads. We wanted a more organic way to feel connected again.

I built Blorp because no one else dared to.
The existing social platforms are not about friends anymore. It’s ads, influencers, and bullsh*t feeds. We scroll for hours, add people to lists, and still feel alone.
When was the last time you actually felt seen by someone online? When was the last time you posted without overthinking the last atom? When was the last time your friends posted — if they even posted? What happened to the good old photo sharing?
Social platforms have turned into a place to get rich, famous, or prove your life is better than someone else’s. Everything’s curated. Everything’s targeted. Everything’s fake-perfect. What happened to real friends? How many people have you lost to silence, algorithms, or just the pressure to look “enough”?
That’s not connection. That’s noise. And honestly, I’m tired of it.
Blorp flips that. With Whispers, you share a thought, photo, or voice note without choosing who gets it — connection happens by chance. No likes, no numbers. Just surprise, intimacy, and presence.
We built this because we still believe in people. In the magic of bumping into someone, in being noticed, in feeling close again.
Blorp isn’t another app. It’s a chance to discover what’s real about your friends.
