BlockZilla automatically removes all sponsored posts, promoted tweets, and ads across major websites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and many more. It's not just another ad blocker, it's a robust content filtering software that evolves.
Hello Hunters and Makers!
I'm both eager and a bit hesitant to share our newest product - BlockZilla.
On one hand, I'm very proud of what the team and I have achieved with BlockZilla. On the other - there is sooo much more space for improvements and new features.
So what is BlockZilla?
BlockZilla is a content filter and ad blocker. The ad-blocking feature is something that we all use and prefer to have. There are tons of ad blockers and even browsers with built-in ad blocking features such as Brave and Vivaldi. It's nothing new and nothing special.
The content filtering is where BlockZilla shines and stands out from the crowd. The extension allows you to filter out some or all promoted tweets, sponsored posts, and ads on major websites. You can customize the filtering per website. It's something 99% of the ad blockers either fail to do or struggle to keep up with the constant updates by the major social media websites.
I'm often asked, "Why is BlockZilla paid"? Browser extensions are and should be FREE.
Well, Facebook and the rest are dedicating many resources to constantly changing their code. They are doing their best to prevent solutions like ours from hiding ads and sponsored posts. It's a game of a cat and a mouse; to be able to play it, we need to generate revenue and pay the bills :)
