blockmade is an editable Box for small-team operations. The Workforce example connects Attendance, Timesheets, Leave, and an hours-based Payroll estimate in one place. Change one sample Attendance row, then see the Timesheets hours and Payroll estimate update. The data stays in your browser; this is not live employee tracking or payroll processing.
We started blockmade from a problem we kept seeing:
the more SaaS tools a business adds, the more work people end up doing between those tools.
Copying data. Checking whether systems match. Moving information between workflows.
blockmade is our attempt at a different model:
take only the functions a business actually needs from different workflows, and combine them into one system that can keep adapting as the business changes.
The Workforce setup available today is a working demo of that idea — not a claim that blockmade already replaces a full HR or payroll suite.
You can change one Attendance entry and see it flow into Timesheets and a payroll estimate.
What would be most useful for us from this launch is understanding the real switching barriers:
- Which SaaS tools are you currently connecting manually?
- Have you ever considered replacing one of them but stopped? What stopped you?
- What feature, integration, or existing data would you absolutely refuse to lose?
Those answers will directly influence the templates and functions we build next.
