As a Canadian, let me tell you the little known fact that Grizzly Bears eat advertisements. It's part of their natural diet.
Ever seen an ad out in the wild? Nope. Why? Bears.
The TunnelBear team makes good stuff, and harnesses the all natural power of bears. 'Nuff said.
@davidiwanow Yup, the whitelist turns off all blocking from that website. You can whitelist sites directly from Safari (via Safari share extensions) or within the app directly. In the future, you'll be able to specify the blocks on the whitelists (ads/tracking/social) so you have a little more control.

Wow , this app essentially took all of the good stuff from Tunnelbear. I find it quite surprising that you guys strike the right chord between UI/UX , it would be quite interesting to see if you guys waive off the price for people who have taken Grizzly plans. The core belief of both of these apps are the same Respecting privacy and giving more control to the users ; perhaps after the app is mature you guys can merge both of these apps.! P.S : Do give all the bears who worked on this my regards ;)

Awesome. I was running Crystal after Peace was pulled from the App Store. Blockbear managed to block a few ads which Crystal missed.
