@Fresh83 not exactly finding people, the goal is to get ppl notified around the location. Facebook and foursquare and many others are moving into this category. The exact mechanism varies, and nothing is very popular now. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, we'd like to learn more about what you've done before.

maps x finding ppl = instant fail with the female demo from what ive learned so far. Im the co-founder of a app that offers a similar feature ( minus the maps)

I love the idea of anonymous friends nearby. Though I never use location sharing apps, I do like to see how this topic will go in the future.
