Bocce on a world map. Nobody sees the target: throw stones where you think the city is, knock your rivals away, then the map reveals who really knew. Daily challenge, duels and online rooms.
Hey Product Hunt! π
I love geography games, but they all feel like quizzes β you guess, you see how close you were, repeat. I wanted something where guessing is just the start.
Blindshot is bocce on a world map. You hear a city name, throw a stone where you think it is, but so does your opponent. And here's the twist: you can Hit their stone into the ocean.
The player who's losing gets the hammer (the last throw), so even bad geography knowledge can be saved by a clutch knockout.
What you can do:
- π― Daily Challenge β 5 cities a day, same for everyone, share your score like Wordle
- π Party rooms β real-time 2-3 player matches, no sign-up needed
- π Link duels β send a link in a group chat, everyone plays at their own pace
The whole game runs in the browser, no downloads. The physics are fully deterministic β every phone replays the exact same match from a seed + throw list.
Built with TypeScript, React, and Cloudflare Durable Objects (the server never runs physics, it just orders throws).
Would love to hear what you think β especially whether the bocce mechanics make geography more fun or more chaotic π
