Drop in any GitHub username and blameai.dev plots their public commits since 2021 against every major AI release - ChatGPT, GPT-4, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor - so you can actually see how the AI era shows up in real commit graphs. No login to start; sign in to count private repos too (read-only). Every graph becomes a share card, plus a not-too-serious badge for your pattern.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Denis, an infrastructure engineer, and I got stuck on one question: did the AI wave actually change how we ship code, or does it just feel that way?
So I built blameai.dev. Drop in any GitHub username, and it draws their public commits since 2021 against the timeline of every major AI release - ChatGPT, GPT-4, Claude, Claude Code, and Cursor. You literally see the before/after. Sign in, and it counts your private repos too (read-only OAuth - it never touches your code).
And it's not just about you. I've collected 3,000+ of the most-followed developers on GitHub, so you can see how the AI era moved the whole community - browse any of them on the leaderboard, or open the aggregate "AI era of GitHub" view for the big-picture trend across the top of the list. The spoiler: across the top 200, commits are up +38% per month since the AI era began.
It also hands you a tongue-in-cheek badge based on your commit pattern. Please don't take those to heart 🙂 - the point is the opposite of mockery. Behind every AI product is a real person shipping a huge amount of genuinely good code, and this just makes that work visible. If a label ever lands the wrong way, it's a joke, and anyone can ask to be removed with a single email.
Free, works from just a username, and every graph turns into a share card for X/LinkedIn.
Would love your feedback - what badge did you get, and did the AI era actually show up in your graph? 👇

dropped in my own username and got a little weirded out seeing exactly when I started letting copilot finish my functions, the cursor spike is brutal

would love to see a "before vs after" toggle on each AI release so i can flip back to see the exact commit graph just before that date, makes the jump in activity so much easier to eyeball
