GitHub Actions runners that build 2x faster for your agents
Coding agents push more code, so your CI runs more builds than ever. GitHub's runners are slow, so every extra build sits in the queue and your team waits with it. Bitrise Build Hub runs those builds on the newest Apple Silicon and high-core Linux instead: 54% faster on iOS, 31% on Android.
PRs come back in minutes, and your app ships sooner. You keep GitHub Actions. Changing one line in your workflow is all it takes to run on the best runners made for mobile.
@geek_1001 So Build Hub offers top tier machines with higher CPU and memory than the available GitHub Runners. These bigger machines make builds faster without any extra steps required. If you need even more speed, you can opt in to use Bitrise build caching that can cut build times by up to 90%.
@geek_1001 Bitrise built the Formula 1 car for software engineers deliver better quality products faster. The whole stack is built in this in mind. Which include latest hardware from Apple and servers, build and key value caches integrated in the same switch fabric where the builds run for low latency, high speed and zero cost use. Bitrise was built to give users the ability to go down to single minute build times so that they can iterate fast. Especially in the AI era when code is generated very fast, the tooling to build and test needs to keep up with this speed.
Hello from Hungary! 👋 🇭🇺 I’m Julie from Bitrise (engineer and tech lead).
Working on a new product is always a special treat to me. I love ideating, researching, and working closely with the first few beta customers. My favourite challenge of Build Hub so far has been the scaling algorithm that we use for starting the virtual machines where the builds can run - starting these too early would waste resources, and starting these too late would cause queues for the users. I like the challenge of finding a fine balance between the two.
I’m excited to see Bitrise Build Hub on ProductHunt. Let’s make the fun begin!
As I appreciate your praise I would like to double on the fact that there is a whole team behind Build Hub, without any of us Build Hub wouldn't be at the place where it is now.
Hey to everyone on Product Hunt! I’m Otto from Bitrise.
I worked on most of the API layer, the runner integration and the orchestration underneath. The part I'm proudest of is the one nobody sees: we cut VM start time by more than 60%.
That sounds small until you remember every single build pays it before any of your code runs! Launching is a strange feeling, you never really know if you found all the edges. So if something behaves oddly for you today, tell me here and I'll look at it 🐛
Congrats on the launch, team! This is such an exciting time! I’m really happy to see that we (Bitrise) open up our platform to a whole new audience. It’s especially great that co-located build cache is available from day one. I know it made a huge difference for Bitrise CI, and now GitHub Actions users get to benefit from it as well.
@gabor_szakacs +1 on caching. I'd suggest to try Bitrise Build Hub + Bitrise Build Cache together. The runners and the build cache storage sit right next to each other (same DC, same network), so your Gradle, Bazel and Xcode builds get cache hits with no egress, faster and more reliable than if you'd use a 3rd party build cache with GHA.
I have been working with Mobile teams for a while now, and they have had to be satisfied with CI infra that's built for web teams. Not anymore.
Build Hub gives mobile teams on GHA, autoscaling M4 Pro runners (M5 Pro / M6 coming soon) for iOS build and test jobs, with the ability to burst during peak capacity needs. With managed build stacks! Xcode 27.2 beta is already available in Build Hub. Not just mac, Linux machines too. Plus build cache.
What Build Hub offers is a vertically integrated build platform for faster, reliable builds. It's easy to try: get a trial, set up the pool, and change the runs-on line in the GHA yaml.
@aorcsik The iOS number is XcodeBenchmark on Xcode 26.3, GitHub's M2 Pro against our M4 Pro, 54% faster.
The Android number is the Thunderbird for Android app with a Gradle assemble, 31% faster on fewer cores.
✅ Both benchmarks are open source, so you can run them yourself. Most teams see x2 faster builds versus GitHub-hosted runners, but your project will differ. That's what the speed challenge is for. Point it at your own slowest builds and see how much they can improve :)

Two products in two weeks on ProductHunt? We're on a roll, baby! 🚀 Jokes aside, a 54% increment in speed looks like a very solid selling point against GitHub Actions. Can I ask how this was benchmarked?
@mefiblogger Ha, thanks! Happy to show the workings. It's XcodeBenchmark, on Xcode 26.3. Android is the same idea, the Thunderbird for Android app with a Gradle assemble (7m12s on GitHub's 16 vCPU versus 4m58s on our 14 vCPU, thats31% faster from us on fewer cores with one of our smaller machines vs GitHub's largest!)
@mefiblogger Both are open source, so anyone can run them and see for themselves, and there's a full side-by-side too of how we stack up against GitHub hosted runners on all fronts.

Nice! So if my Github jobs appear to be slow, how can Bitrise actually help with that? I thought it was a core issue with Github Actions

@geek_1001 thanks for checking our product!

Hey Team, congratulations on yet another great launch! 🚀
Your benchmark numbers look impressive, but could you share more about where they come from?
