Bitrise is the leading mobile DevOps platform, empowering over 8,500 brands worldwide including Generali, Shopify, TripAdvisor and BuzzFeed. Bitrise provides a full-stack, vertically integrated mobile DevOps solution that unites the tools, processes and testing frameworks engineering teams need to build best-in-class mobile experiences.
GitHub Actions runners that build 2x faster for your agents
Coding agents push more code, so your CI runs more builds than ever. GitHub's runners are slow, so every extra build sits in the queue and your team waits with it. Bitrise Build Hub runs those builds on the newest Apple Silicon and high-core Linux instead: 54% faster on iOS, 31% on Android.
PRs come back in minutes, and your app ships sooner. You keep GitHub Actions. Changing one line in your workflow is all it takes to run on the best runners made for mobile.
@iambalint thank you! and great question, most GitHub runner alternatives are general-purpose CI. We are a Mobile DevOps Platform, and that shows up in a few ways:
Built for mobile
The strongest macOS we can get: we picked the M4 Pro Mac mini, so you get up to 14 cores and 54GB RAM, and we're first to each new generation (M5 Pro and M6 are in progress).
Granular Linux from 2 up to 192 vCPU, and we've clocked it around 20% faster than comparable GCP instances.
Xcode betas and GA within 24 hours of Apple, on stacks that come preinstalled with the mobile toolchain, native and cross-platform: https://bitrise.io/stacks
More than runners
Build Cache for Gradle, Bazel, Xcode and React Native, up to 90% faster builds.
Release Management to submit to the App Store and Google Play with phased rollouts.
Deeper observability is on the way, built on our Insights product.
Reliability we own end to end
We run our own data centres, machines, cache servers and networking, so the experience isn't at the mercy of a general cloud.
That includes our own macOS virtualization layer on top of Apple's framework, already running millions of customer builds a month. The core isn't dependent on open-source projects.
Pricing
Entry at $13.50/month, below most alternatives, with lower macOS per-minute rates.
We support GitHub user accounts, not just orgs, which many competitors don't.
@dan_bitrise thanks so much, can't beat cute pixel art.
GitHub's hosted macOS runners are shared and top out at M2 Pro (5 vCPU, 14GB) even for Enterprise, their standard offering is still an M1.
Build Hub gives you dedicated Apple silicon, up to M4 Pro at 14 vCPU and 54GB, from pre-warmed VM pools, so a build starts the moment you push.
You also get the mobile toolchain pre-installed and 100GB KV cache free, where GitHub gives you 10GB per repo.
On XcodeBenchmark, we're twice as fast. And that's before you bundle on our co-located Build Cache product which can cut build times by up to 90%. Check out the full side-by-side here to read through all of the details.
@solodnev Build Hub is built with the security rigor that Bitrise applies to Bitrise CI or RDE. The platform undergoes regular external penetration tests, as well as internal ones, our security team is constantly on the lookout for new vulnerabilities. Especially in the AI era this is crucial.
The external penetration tests and security review includes ones initiated by some of the largest financial companies, banks and fintech companies, who use Bitrise to build on.
We also adhere to strict compliance SOC2, which is available upon request in our compliance portal

Congrats on the launch, awesome stuff! Tackling a real problem with runners that struggle to keep up and adapting it to the speed needed for today's development. Im assuming this can be trialed out prior to committing fully
@lex_zavala thank you! sure, there is a free trial so you can try out all the Build Hub features without committing. If you like the product you can decide later whether to upgrade to a paid plan, if you need extra capacity than what our self-serve plans offer then we can chat and collaborate on a POC :)
@ilzorya Thanks! 👏 Not only mobile, no. You can build anything on Build Hub that you'd build on GitHub Actions, except Windows. Mobile is where our tooling really shines, but it's not limited to it, we build Bitrise on Bitrise. And our Linux runners support GitHub Actions' container and services features, so you can switch build environments and interact with services running as separate containers, exactly as you do now.
I'm Tamás, a Solutions Engineer at Bitrise, based in Amsterdam. My part of Build Hub comes after the landing page. I sit with mobile teams during their trials and PoCs and help them move real workflows over, so I've seen a lot of "before" build logs. What still makes me smile is how undramatic the switch is. We configure the machine pool, change the runs-on line and push. There's no migration plan and no rewriting workflows, and secrets and steps stay exactly as they were. Then the build finishes early enough that someone on the call scrolls back up to check the tests actually ran 😅 The other thing I hear constantly is less about raw speed and more about waiting. Builds queue in the afternoons. A release gets stuck because the new Xcode isn't on the runner yet. Build Hub gets new Xcode versions within 24 hours, and your build starts when you push instead of waiting for a free machine. That's usually what teams thank us for a few weeks later. I'm obviously biased, so don't take my word for it. Our iOS benchmark came out 54% faster, but your project is the one that matters. Point your slowest workflow at it during the free trial and compare. What's your slowest build right now, and how long does it take? Drop it below, I'm genuinely curious 👇🤓

Hi team! Congrats on today’s launch! 🎉 It’s great to see Bitrise Build Hub featured on Product Hunt! 🥳
One question, though: what’s the main difference between the OG product, Bitrise CI and Build Hub? 🤔
Another week, another great launch from the team! 🚀 👏🏻
One key question. How does Build Hub differ from any other GitHub runner alternative?

Congrats! Pretty cool runners. but how does Build Hub ensure a secure setup?

One question, though: what’s the main difference between the OG product, Bitrise CI and Build Hub? 🤔
Bitrise
@mirtill_sipos thanks Mirtill for your support 💜
Bitrise
@mirtill_sipos thank you so much. We're happy to be here :)
They're built on the same infrastructure, the difference is how much you want to change(or can change!).
Build Hub is the low-effort option: you stay on GitHub Actions and just point your jobs at our faster more reliable machines, nothing to migrate.
Bitrise CI is the full platform, better if you want the whole toolkit, the graphical workflow editor, Insights, the build log viewer and the rest.
So: Build Hub to speed up the CI you already have, Bitrise CI if you want to run your CI on Bitrise end to end.
