With all of the Messenger bots, this is a practical one! Really cool that you can also split bills and pay roommates. I can FINALLY get my roommate to kick in for their portion of bills/utilities 🙌

Is this a technology demonstrator or is there an intent by the makers to solve a user problem?
I don't necessarily see this remarkable re-approach to solve the payments problem than lets say a digital wallet would. Its pretty much a 1 click solution on digital wallet too (once you've verified account, added your cards). My wallet provider in India is the well known paytm (primarily a payment gateway, who also has an ecommerce store and all the integrations for all bills i ever need to pay). I want to ask the makers, why will i migrate to this messenger from lets say paytm or similar solutions which might already exist in other countries?
@_kgowda Hi Karthik and thanks for your question. BillHero is different in several ways from any digital wallet. We are bank agnostic, can pay every bill, can do Person-to-Person transfers and we can split bills. So if you share a bill, you just pay your fair share up front with no need to pay anyone back. The FB messenger bot is a technology we created for convenience so that individuals can pay any way they choose to.

@_kgowda i think you are not seeing bigger picture here, the payment wallet are good to start with getting all our billing in one place but as user I still have to do the work of opening website/app checking my bills & authorizing my payment & this wallet they dont even notify you that your bills are due & need to make the payment which is frustrating.
But if I have a bot who knows that my due date is approaching & providing me option to pay my bills right in the notification taking necessary authorization that will save me hell lot of time. The next big thing is not using an APP or website but it will simply using an AI to get the done without even need to do anything.
