What inspired this: While working closely with last-mile delivery workflows, I kept seeing a gap between what systems assume and what actually happens on the ground. OTP-based verification is widely used, but it doesn’t truly confirm real-world presence — it just confirms that a code was exchanged. The problem we wanted to solve: In logistics, that gap leads to friction, failed deliveries, and sometimes disputes. There’s no simple way to digitally prove that the right people were physically present at the point of handover — especially at scale. Our approach: We built BeyondOTP as a lightweight, plug-in layer that integrates into existing workflows and adds proximity-based proof of presence. Instead of replacing systems, it strengthens them — enabling verifiable, fraud-resistant delivery confirmations while keeping the process seamless for users. We’re currently deploying this in real-world delivery scenarios and learning a lot along the way.
