Most tools upload your meetings and own your data. BetterBizz is built the other way: end-to-end encrypted notes on your phone. Record live, import files, or paste a URL transcripts in 100+ languages, speaker labels, AI summaries & chat. Share with your team without exposing raw conversations. Start free.

Have you considered adding a "smart action items" feature that auto-extracts tasks from each meeting and syncs them to tools like Trello, Asana, or Linear? That would save me from copy pasting next steps into my task manager after every call. Also useful would be deadline detection so I know if something is due this week or later.
@tahsinlimr Totally agree, the transcript is only half the win if tasks still end up copy-pasted into Trello by hand.
We're working on integrations now, and Trello / Asana / Linear are among the first wave, along with sharper action-item from meetings. Not live yet, but coming soon.
Which integration would you use day one?
The end-to-end encryption angle is refreshing, especially with so many tools shipping raw conversations to the cloud. One thing that would make this stickier for me is a native calendar hook so it can auto-join and record scheduled calls without me pasting links each time.
@ensarxikq Thank you glad the encryption angle resonates. That was a deliberate choice, not a marketing line.
On calendar: we actually ship this on our paid plans. Connect Google or Microsoft calendar and BetterBizz can surface scheduled meetings and capture them without you pasting links each time Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet included.
It's not on free today, but if you try a subscription, Calendar in Settings is the starting point.
Would love to hear if it feels "native enough" or what's still one step short.
honestly the privacy angle here is really compelling, but one thing that would help me a lot is keyboard shortcuts for marking action items during the recording itself, like hitting a hotkey to drop a timestamped marker that later syncs into the summary. right now i always forget what got decided by the time the meeting ends
@erifemzqk Honestly… you're describing a feature I wish existed yesterday. Marking action items during the call with a hotkey and seeing them in the summary later not shipped yet, but I'm keeping this front of mind as I iterate.
Really appreciate the privacy note too. Means a lot.
Finally tried recording a Zoom call and was honestly impressed the transcript came out with clean speaker labels in seconds. Loving that it stays encrypted on my phone instead of getting shipped to some cloud.
@ccumagil14794 Thank you, this made my day! 🙌
Speaker labels on a Zoom capture in seconds is exactly the experience we were aiming for. And on privacy: we encrypt on your phone first, then sync so it never feels like "upload and forget" on someone else's servers.
If you try a longer call or a different platform (Teams / Meet), I'd love to hear how it holds up.
One thing that would make this even better for me: a native calendar integration that auto-detects upcoming meetings and prompts me to start recording when they begin. Would save the step of opening the app mid-call.
@berilzelikfdwv Great suggestion and good news: we actually built exactly this on our paid plans.
Connect Google or Microsoft calendar and BetterBizz can surface upcoming meetings and help you capture them when they start including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.
It's not on the free tier yet, but if you're open to trying a subscription, Calendar is where to hook it up.
Would love your feedback once you test it especially if anything still feels like "one step too many."
love that everything stays on my phone with the encryption angle, feels like the right default. the one click url to summary worked really well on a long podcast i dropped in
@ouzhangdmodira Thanks so much, really glad that resonated!
Encryption on-device before anything syncs was a core bet for us: your recordings shouldn't feel like "upload and hope." Podcasts via URL are exactly the kind of workflow we built for long audio, fast summary, no manual scrubbing.
Would love to hear what you'd want next: better speaker labels, export formats, or something else?
