BeatAPI is a production-ready API layer for AI Music Video and AI Ecommerce Video workflows. Developers can submit audio, lyrics, prompts, product images, and visual references, then use async task IDs, polling, webhooks, dashboard logs, credits, and hosted MP4 outputs instead of rebuilding video orchestration from scratch.
Hey Product Hunt community! BeatAPI is built for developers who want production-ready AI video generation inside their own products without rebuilding the full orchestration layer. The launch focuses on two practical workflows: AI Music Video API for audio, lyrics, prompts, visual references, subtitles, and hosted MV output; and AI Ecommerce Video API for product images, offer briefs, creative variants, and hosted MP4 ad delivery. Submit assets, get a task id, poll or receive a webhook, and use the output URL directly in your app. We would love feedback from builders working on creator tools, music apps, ecommerce ads, n8n or Make workflows, and automation products.

How are the credits priced per video and what happens if a generation fails halfway through, do I still get charged for the render time?
Thanks for asking. We charge by audio length and resolution rather than actual render time: $0.08/sec at 540p, $0.10/sec at 720p, and $0.12/sec at 1080p in standard mode. A job can be up to 3 minutes long. If generation fails and no usable output is delivered, we automatically refund the charge, so you won’t pay for a failed render. If anything about billing or refunds is unclear, I’m happy to help.
