Hi Everyone, I built this product to help making researching companies easier. As a first step, the application can fetch reports for more than 8000 companies, (pretty much all SEC regulated stocks) from a maintained database and answer questions about it. This ensures that the information is accurate and is not made up. Chat history is also saved so that users can revisit their research. As LLMs continue to get better at reading and writing, the ability to read documents at scale and make inferences will make a lot more things possible. For instance, the api can be used to generate news articles highlighting what matters to the user. So you can choose to be informed about deposit growth and net interest income at JPMorgan, while getting a summary that focuses on stock based compensation and revenue growth at Twilio. At a more ambitious scale, imagine a turbocharged Warren Buffett able to read thousands of reports every quarter. These reports hold enough information to provide a better understanding of the US economy than any macroeconomic statistic. The challenges include 1. Maintaining and updating the filing database of more than 8k companies to ensure that the right information reaches the LLM. 2. Search, using a combination of text, embedding, web searches and annotations was the main technical challenge to ensure that the right pieces of text reach the LLM. Currently, pdfs are work in progress, and only a few other macroeconomic indicators such the Federal Reserve, ECB, RBA, nonfarm payrolls and CPI are included. The next steps include adding global stocks and macroeconomic indicators. I would really appreciate your feedback. Thank you, Mohan
