Challenge a friend to a rep battle. Prop your phone up and the camera counts only clean push-ups, squats and jumping jacks — on your device, never uploaded.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Ash, and I built Beastie.
Every push-up challenge in a group chat ends the same way: nobody believes anybody's number. So Beastie does the counting. Prop your phone against something and the camera counts your push-ups, squats and jumping jacks, but only the reps that go through the full range. Then send a friend a link to beat your number. It opens even if they don't have Beastie yet, no account is needed to accept, and their phone counts them by the same rules.
A few things I decided early:
• Counting runs on your phone. Video is never uploaded or stored.
• No points, gems or levels. Progress is your personal beour streak, and a streak pauses instead of breaking.
• If the counter isn't sure a rep was real, it doesn't count it. A missed rep is annoying. A counted fake one would make every duel
meaningless.
It's free on iPhone and Android: 3 solo sessions every 24 hours plus your first duel, with no account needed to start. Pro unlocks unlimited duels and sessions.
I'd love honest feedback, especially on one thing: what would make you actually send a challenge to a friend?
