Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Dzung, a mobile developer and the solo maker of Beaming.
I demo and test apps on iPhones and Android phones every day. Getting their screens onto the Mac meant QuickTime for one, scrcpy in a terminal for the other, and iPhone Mirroring for my own iPhone only. Every recording came out as a flat rectangle I had to frame afterwards.
So I built Beaming: plug a phone in and it opens in its own window, inside a frame that matches the real device. No Xcode, no terminal, nothing to install on the phone.
What you can do:
• Mirror iPhone, iPad and Android over USB or wireless
• Control Android with your mouse and keyboard
• Put several devices side by side in the Hub, which is great for showing one feature on both platforms
• Take framed screenshots and recordings with audio
One honest limit: iPhone and iPad are view and audio only for now, control will be launch
Your screen never leaves your Mac. There are no analytics and no accounts.
Pricing: free with a watermark and 10-minute sessions. Pro is a one-time $14.99 for the first 50 licenses (regular $19.99), cheaper per Mac for teams. No subscription.
I'd love your feedback, especially if you mirror devices for demos, QA or content. What should I build next: iPhone control, or something else?
The side-by-side Hub is the killer feature for me — showing the same flow on iPhone and Android at once is exactly where simulators fall short, because the bugs that matter tend to be device-specific. Framed screenshots and recordings with the real notch and body color also save the usual cleanup step before a demo. Appreciate the honesty that iPhone is view-only for now, and that everything stays on the Mac with no accounts.
