I’m Fernando, a software engineer, and the solo developer behind Be Budget Today.

I built this app out of a personal frustration: I was tired of managing my expenses on messy spreadsheets that I always abandoned after a few months. When I looked for apps, they all forced me to sync my bank accounts, required too many steps just to log a coffee, or filled the screen with useless data.

So, I spent the last year developing exactly what I needed: a fast, visual, and simple expense tracker.

Privacy-First: The app syncs securely with our servers but never links to your bank account. No credentials required, and users have full ownership—you can completely delete your data and account at any time.
Real Simplicity: You can log transactions in just two taps. No financial jargon, no complicated onboarding.
Built to Scale: Even as a solo project, it fully supports 6 languages, custom categories with over 130 icons, savings goals, and advanced annual statistics.
