Remotes, smoke alarms, key fobs and cordless tool packs, all in one place. Battery Inventory tells you which battery each device takes, reminds you when one is due, keeps count of the spares in your drawer, and has your tool packs charged before the job starts.

Hi Product Hunt
I built Battery Inventory because of my own garage. I had nine interchangeable 18V packs for my battery-powered tools and never knew which ones were charged. Was one still sitting in the hedge trimmer? Was one flat in the drawer? I'd find out at the start of a job, when it was too late.
The first version only handled cordless tools: track your packs, chargers and tools, plan a job, and see which packs to charge first. To be honest, it didn't stick. People set it up once and stopped opening it, because tool packs don't need you every day.
The house does. The smoke alarm chirping at 3 a.m. The car key fob dying in the parking lot. Standing in a shop wondering whether a 357 is the same as an LR44 (it is). So 1.2 is built around the home. You add your devices and it fills in which battery each one takes. It reminds you when a change is due, and sends a monthly test reminder for smoke and CO alarms. It also counts the spares in your drawer, so you buy what you're missing before you need it. The tool side is still there, as the Workshop.
The feedback that would help most:
1. Your first two minutes. Did you get to a useful reminder fast, or did setup feel like a chore?
2. Anything missing. A device or battery code the app didn't know.
3. Home and Workshop in one app. Does that make sense to you, or should they be separate?
4. The free tier. Does 10 devices feel fair, or too stingy?
5. Android. Would you use it there? It decides what I build next.
Thanks for taking a look.
