Bassmaker began around three years ago in Hong Kong. On assignment for work, plagued with free time and abundance of power tools, Stew (founder) began building stereo systems inside briefcases. Hobby turned obsession. With the help of a partner in Texas, the obsession has become a business. After +30 prototypes, the biggest criticism we faced was that we couldn't make them fast enough. So in October 2019, the team enlisted a third party manufacturing group (our friend) to prepare for mass production. With the help of C.S.A Suzhou, BASSMAKER has now streamlined production.
