Every scorecard app I tried was ugly and missing basic features. So I learned Swift and built one. Baseball Scorecard Classic brings authentic scorekeeping to iPhone and iPad — import MLB lineups instantly, track every at-bat with traditional notation, manage substitutions, pitching changes, and base runners automatically. Built by a baseball fan who wanted it done right.
I've been scoring baseball games by hand my whole
life. When I went looking for a good app to do it
digitally, everything I found was terrible — ugly
interfaces, clunky workflows, no respect for how
scorekeeping actually works.
This is my first iOS app ever.
What I'm most proud of:
- MLB lineup import — start scoring in seconds
- Smart base state tracking — the app suggests who
scores and calculates RBIs automatically
- Full substitution tracking — every player's stats
preserved exactly like a real scorecard
- Two beautiful themes — aged paper for day games,
dark navy for night games
I'd love feedback from anyone who scores games —
whether it's MLB, little league, or anything in
between. What would make this the scorecard app
you actually bring to the ballpark?
