Base: design foundations course

Great offering for devs without design capabilities like me... Something that I always hate is very often I am asked to just `design something that works` on the spot. Always a struggle! Now something to learn to help me make better decisions when I am being asked to redo components.

When starting in design, I was not given the theory behind color psychology or how to pair fonts, or how to use the F and Z pattern to focus the user's attention. I have discovered everything on my own, through my intuition, mistakes, and hard work. In October 2020, after taking a course from Jack Butcher on how to build once and sell twice, I made a decision to create a product, and sell it. My first product with the proposal guide went very well. I was not expecting to get so much attention to it. And in few weeks, I was going to do the same with Base - a course on design fundamentals for beginners. But something changed. Recently, while reading my early career journal I found that my younger self had a difficult time finding free knowledge. Today, you can find everything on the internet. But it is so spread and diversified, so you can't get a complete picture. This is why I'm making this information freely available while being structured so that anyone who has a strong desire to become a designer could gain access to it. I will give the full course in small but structured chunks, followed by the tasks anyone can complete. Live feedback sessions on your work will help you move forward.
