Book exchange platform. Our users can exchange their used books for a new ones, or buy second hand books from other users at a really convenient price.
This is my side project, that I’ve been working for the last two months. The idea behind is to build a great community of people that would like to share their books, potentially in the future other goods. It was inspired from some of my beliefs, that we should live a minimalistic and in balance with the environment lifestyle.
How it works?
1. User lists his available books on the platform.
2. When another user requests one of his books he receives a notification. Now he can approve or reject the request.
3. If approved, we are sending him the postage label. So user have just to drop the parcel with the book at his nearest post office or parcel box.
4. For his contribution he receives one credit.
5. When user order a book he pays with the credit earned and pays for delivery.
We don’t charge any fee for the exchange process or make money on the postage.
How our platform is monetising?
We offer user a chance to buy credits at a really convenient prices. Like 8.99£ for 3 books, that’s super cheap.
